"The Lodge" is a new reality television series featuring one of the most successful and prominent lodges in the world: Queen Charlotte Lodge (QCL). It is being produced for World Fishing Network (WFN) by Gary Cooper and the Nice Fish Marketing Group. The premise is to show "a day in the life" of operating a fishing lodge such as ours in a remote location. While the show will be educational in the sense that it will show guides and guests using several fishing techniques, that is not the theme of the program. The show is meant to be entertaining to the WFN viewer, who loves fishing and the great outdoors; and we've got plenty of that to offer!

WFN: World Fishing Network is the only 24/7 television network dedicated to all segments of fishing with programming that covers instruction, tips, tournaments, travel, food, boating, outdoor lifestyle and more.

"The Lodge" was shot entirely on location at QCL during a 3 week period from August 7 - 28, 2009. There was a production crew of 8 with as many as 5 cameras rolling every day. Shot in Discovery Channel-approved High Definition, the producers of "The Lodge" employed the same HD cameras used for shows such as "Survivor". The videographers were assigned each day to cover various aspects of the 24-hour-a-day operation as seen through the eyes of several lodge personnel. "The Lodge" is scheduled to air during prime time on Fridays and Sundays beginning Friday February 5th. There are 13 one hour episodes so plan not to miss any as it plays through February, March & April! On Fridays it plays at 7:00 pm EST - that's 4:00 pm out here on the coast. On Sundays it plays at 11:00 pm EST - 8:00 pm on the coast. It will play at other time slots throughout the year – twice more in the week (exact schedule TBA). We are very excited about this project and feel that QCL will certainly gain unprecedented exposure to a whole new group of anglers throughout North America. We'll be anxiously waiting along with you to see what happens each week! Stay tuned!
