Space at Queen Charlotte Lodge always books fast. If you’d like to ensure a particular trip date for next season we strongly recommend you contact us as soon as possible. There are great dates available now for next summer but most of our guests plan their return trips and call us in the fall, so now's the time to make those enquiries while the selection is still good.

Fishing Packages for 2012

The Sportsman's Package is based on  our  “QCL Special”  17 foot welded aluminum fishing boat featuring a centre-console helm for comfortable and confident operation on the fishing grounds.  They are powered by smooth-running Mercury 75 hp 4-stroke engines, new each year.  Each boat is equipped with Scotty manual downriggers and Humminbird depth sounders.  Standard tackle includes our proven 10.5 foot fibreglass mooching rods with Daiwa’s M-One Plus mooching reel.  They’re all set up for two to three anglers, and with plenty of power these vessels have proven to be solid performers in all conditions.

The Kingfisher Package moves the angler into our premium program featuring deluxe 22 foot fishing vessels.   These boats are available first-come, first-served - with or without a guide.  They are fully equipped with Scotty electric downriggers, Sirius satellite radios and canopies for additional protection from the elements.  These centre-console vessels can accommodate 4 people in comfort with new 115 hp 4-stroke Mercurys.  Rounding out the package is our deluxe tackle setup with high end mooching reels of fully machined bar stock aluminum, high-load stainless steel bearings and large surface cork disc drag.  The reels are perfectly matched with quality fibreglass mooching rods custom-built for Queen Charlotte Lodge.

The growth of our Guided Fishing program is testament to the high level of service and satisfaction we strive to provide on the water.  Our large contingent of return clientele have come to enjoy the confidence that comes with fishing with a professional guide, top-quality equipment and tackle.  Guides are available for the duration of your trip and can easily be added to either the Sportsman or the Kingfisher packages.  A  standard guided fishing day is 11 hours dock-to-dock and additional hours can be arranged with your guide.  Our guides undergo comprehensive training at QCL and use premium salmon tackle and gear to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Rates are quoted here in CANADIAN dollars and do not include applicable taxes and fees.

Our Main Lodge sets the standard for comfortable accommodation, warm friendly atmosphere and genuine hospitality.

Totem House

We're very proud of this exciting new facility, introduced for the 2008 season.  Totem House is the "top-of-the-line" hospitality package at QCL, perfectly suited for the exclusive use of up to 8 guests.  With a private Chef and Hostess dedicated to the needs of your group, Totem House service is the ultimate way to come fishing in the Queen Charlottes!

Charlotte House

Charlotte House is the ideal getaway for corporate or family groups who would like to have a more private program at the Lodge.

Haida House

This warm cedar-clad house is all set up for the comfortable enjoyment of 8 guests.

MV Driftwood

Perfect for those who just can’t bear to leave the water after a great day’s fishing! Through the summer the Driftwood operates as part of the Queen Charlotte Lodge program.

Our guided fishing program continues to grow year over year and we address the demand with new equipment and ideas each season.  Our premium boat option allows guests to tailor-make their fishing experience even more.
