July 14th - Humpbacks are our most common whale species and we are fortunate to see them quite regularly - usually without any extra effort.  In our waters they tend to follow the huge schools of needlefish as they are pushed around by the winds and tides, so when we have lots of whales we usually have lots of salmon!
